Welcome to the website that enables each and every one of us to tell our personal story and inspire other people at www.simpleasme.com (the “Website”). The Website is operated by Simple As Me LTD. When using the Website’s services and submitting Videos to the Website, you are requested to carefully read this privacy policy as well as the terms of use (collectively, “Agreement”). Please pay careful attention to the provisions of the Agreement, as they are a part of an agreement between us and by using our services you accept and agree the Agreement’s terms, which are received by you in this electronic form.

In this privacy policy we set out the information we collect, what we do with the collected information, with whom we share the information and the possibility you have to access and/or remove information you have already submitted through the Website.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

WHEN SUBMITTING ANY KIND OF INFORMATION, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE IS NO LEGAL REQUIREMENT TO DO SO, AND THAT YOU ARE SUBMITTING INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN FREE WILL AND BY GIVING YOUR CONSENT TO SUCH SUBMITTION.

We may collect all of the following (but have no obligation to so):

Information provided by you by the registration form when you submit a Video to the Website shall include, among others, your name, surname, country, age, gender, e-mail address, user name and password. We ask you to provide an e-mail address for purposes of identification and confirmation (other users will not have access to your e-mail address).
Certain information through facebook, google+ or linkedin. As described in the Terms of Use, when submitting a Video, you may provide information through your facebook, google+ or linkedin account. The personal information collected through those sites will only be information that you permitted to transfer to our Website.

The information stated in this 1(a) section shall be regarded as “Personal Information”.

(b) Content Provided By You

The content which you may submit to the Website that may include:

(a) your Video(s) that tell your personal story.
(b) your comments on the Video or videos of others.
The information stated in this 1(b) section shall be regarded as (the “User Content”).

BY SUBMITTING USER CONTENT YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT IS PUBLICALLY VIEWED BY OTHER USERS OF THE WEBSITE AND YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ANY USER OF THE WEBSITE MAY ACCESS AND SHARE USER CONTENT PROVIDED BY YOU.

We may collect certain information automatically in order to better understand how the users use our Website, including, without limitation, your IP address, the operating system version, the browser you use and its language, its hardware, specific information of your computer, access times of your visits to the Website, your search parameters in the Website, the number of clicks you make and your uses of the Website and the videos that you were inspired by at the Website. We may assign your computer different identifiers in order to facilitate access to our Website, personalize your use of the Website and/or collect such information.

The information stated in this 1(c) section shall be regarded as (the “Automatically Saved Data”).

(d) GPS LOCATION (MOBILE APPLICATION)

We may collect Information concerning your geographical location when you are using the Website if by means of a designated GPS application we use or by information that you submit.

The information stated in this 1(d) section shall be regarded as (the “Location Data”).

ALTHOUGH WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SAVE THE INFORMATION AFORMENTIONED, WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO DO SO AND WE MAY CHANGE OUR PRACTICES AS TO THE COLLECTION OF SOME OR ALL OF THE INFORMATION STATED IN THIS SECTION AS WELL AS OUR RETENTION POLICY WHICH MAY BE AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME.

WE DO NOT SAVE INFORMATION BASED ON RACE, RELIGION, SEXUAL ORENTATION OR HEALTH WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. SUBMITTING SUCH CONTENT AT THE WEBSITE SHALL BE CONSIDERED AS CONSENT TO SAVE SUCH INFORMATION.

WE SAVE AND PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION AT SERVERS IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. WE MAY SAVE OR PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION IN SERVERS THAT ARE NOT OWNED BY US BUT ARE OWNED BY A THIRD PARTY. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY MALFUNCTION OR FAULT CAUSED BY THE THIRD PARTY’S SERVERS.

2. HOW WE USE THE COLLECTED INFORMATION

We may use the information collected by us in the following ways, to:

(a)    Identify and match the most inspiring stories and videos for you.
(b)   Provide services that you have requested or that we believe that you may find of interest.
(c)    Provide you with support in connection with the Agreement and the use of the Website.
(d)   Provide you with tailored information and advertisements.
(e)    Perform an analysis of the data accumulated from you and other users of the Website.
(f)    Improve the features and quality of the Website
(g)   Exercise or enforce any of rights regarding the Agreement.

3. WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We will not make any use of your Personal Information except as indicated below or when we have your consent to do so.

(a) We may share Personal Information with service providers that shall manage the advertisements in the Website or that provide technical or support services to the Website. The Personal Information that will be shared will only be relevant information that enables such service provider to perform the mentioned service. The service providers will have access to Personal Information in order to perform the specific service but they will not be permitted to share or use the information for any other purpose.

(b) We may provide various statistics we formulated to our affiliates or trusted business’s and/or companies and/or service providers that we are interested in collaborating with. The statistics may be conducted based on the Personal Information provided by you but shall not identify any specific user.

(c) We may share any information submitted by you or that we have collected (1) in order to comply with any applicable law or regulation, (2) to enforce the provisions of the Agreement, (3) to our affiliates or other companies under common control, which will assume the provisions of this privacy policy.

WE MAY SHARE USER CONTENT, AUTOMATICALLY SAVED DATA, LOCATION DATA AND NON PERSONAL INFORMATION FREELY, WITH OUR AFFILIATES, PARTNERS, ADVERTISERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS.

4. SECURITY

We make reasonable efforts in order to protect your Personal Information from any misuse, lose or unauthorized access. Moreover, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information is only being used for the purposes designated in this privacy policy.

IF USER CONTENT SUBMITTED BY YOU IS IMPORTANT TO YOU, MAKE SURE YOU BACK-UP THE USER CONTENT IN YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE IN ORDER TO SECURE THE USER CONTENT. WE DO NOT PROVIDE SERVICES OF BACK-UPS TO THE USER CONTENT AND WE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR USER CONTENT IN ANY WAY IN THE OCCURRENCE OF ANY LOSS OF THE USER CONTENT ON THE WEBSITE.

5. RIGHTS IN THE CONTENT AND INFORMATION

You have the right to view and remove Video submitted by you at any time. If you wish to remove or delete such Video, you shall send us a request stating the action you wish for us to carry out for you. Our representative shall examine your request, and if it is reasonable, it shall be fulfilled within seventy two (72) hours from receipt by us of your request. If you wish to edit such Video, you may do so by requesting to remove or delete the User Content and then after submitting a revised Video (all subject to the above mentioned provisions of this section 5). Please be aware that whilst removing or deleting a Video submitted by you, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be removed from the servers, where the Video and/or information is saved (as to prevent any accidental or malicious intentions regarding the Video) or from any third party and/or user database or server and we shall not be responsible for removing such Video or for the actions taken by such third party concerning such Video. We reserve the right to keep any User Content and/or information or save it for any legal purposes or if we are required to so by any state authority.

6. VIOLATIONS OF PRIVACY

If you detect any violation of this privacy policy please send us a report of such violation by using the report/abuse button located on the Website or by sending us a written notice to info@simpleasme.com. When reporting such violation we ask you to provide the following: a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on your behalf; a description of the activity which violated this privacy policy and where it is located on the Website; and any other information required in the specific report form provided to you at the Website.

7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT AND MODIFICATIONS

The Agreement embodies the entire agreement between us regarding the use of the Website and its services and supersedes any and all prior communications between us.

You acknowledge and agree that we may modify the terms of the Agreement at any time, and coincidently we shall (a) update the “Last revised” heading and post a notice on the Website at least thirty (30) days in order to inform you of such modification of the terms of the Agreement, or (b) inform you of such modification of the terms of the Agreement by e-mail if such e-mail address is provided to us or by notification provided to you through the Website. The continuance of your use of our Website and its services shall constitute your acceptance to the revised terms of the Agreement.
