“Two years ago my life turned upside down when I heard about the Mazor Ranch monkeys. The thought of using such helpless creatures, killed me. The monkeys were brought from the Mauritius Islands and abused at the ranch. They were sent as babies to the toxicology labs dealing with cosmetics, cleaning products and insecticides for profit purposes. I have mixed feelings because on one hand I’m living in a state that aims to be a compassionate and humane place. On the other hand, these monkeys are just one example of how we as a society treat the helpless. From my point of view, it’s inconceivable.”
